By ADT Security Services, on September 08, 2011

Register today for this ADT-sponsored forum bringing together nationally renowned experts including Safety Mom Alison Rhodes and ADT Public Safety Advisor Patrick Fiel, as well as Cherokee County School Principal Bill Sebring and Janet Read, active parent in representing Parental Awareness for Safe Schools (P.A.S.S.).

This Webcast for journalists and education leaders to discuss the latest threats and safety risks facing America’s schools this upcoming year, as well as the best practices and technology solutions now available to reduce these risks. Results from the recent School Safety Survey will be released, revealing nearly 70% of parents saying their children have been bullied on campus and the need for a stronger response from schools. Program will also include a video analysis of the most dangerous areas on school campuses.

The issues of bullying/cyberbullying, tracking sexual predators, drug sale, vandalism and gang violence are among many growing threats facing U.S. schools in 2011. On this webcast, experts will explain new data and trends and present current solutions to school safety risks, including parent/family strategies, school campus procedures, faculty training, and innovative technology. ADT will showcase the latest high tech solutions now available for schools, including risk assessments, video surveillance, mass alerts, visitor management, and “smart bus” transportation safety. Session will conclude with a Q&A session for journalists with expert panelists.
