April has become one of the deadliest months for major campus massacres and homegrown terrorist activities in the U.S.

Every day, schools use technology to help protect students. It may be a visitor management system to keep sex offenders off campus or cameras to track events such as bullying. A Denver TV station recently aired a report with ADT’s Patrick Fiel talking about some of those technologies while at a national conference of school administrators.

Once more there is an attempt to allow guns — not those belonging to trained police officers — on K-12 campuses. This time a Nebraska state senator says allowing teachers to carry concealed weapons on campus would help put an end to school shootings.
